From the aerial shot the two and three storey concrete frame buildings can be seen. The campus – style school expected to be completed in 2009 and will have a major impact on education in Leamington, will bring together 1,500 pupils who currently use four separate sites across the town. The local community is also set to benefit from the use of a number of the school’s extended facilities.
The next phase of the North Leamington School Project for Miller Construction is well on the way and the latest photograph show the progression very clearly.
This is one of a number of recent contracts that have been awarded to Parkstone that includes the three pack. The contracts at Brierley Hill for Carillion (NHS Lift) and the Q3 academy at Great Bar for BAM (formerly HBG) also involve extensive earthworks, groundwork’s and concrete frame elements.
John Love (Parkstone Group MD) commented, “the successful completion of the opening phases at the North Leamington School project clearly demonstrated the benefits of employing Parkstone for the combined packages of works. The project has shown that effective cost savings and programme time can be saved by employing a company with the expertise to carry out and manage all three packages at the same time. This methodology is something that many of our clients are currently adopting as they become aware of the many positives from combined work packages.”
