Parkstone in the frame
The success that the Parkstone Group have enjoyed for many years, in the field of major excavation and groundwork projects, has lead to their expansion into reinforced concrete building frames. Parkstone Construction have recently been awarded two new contracts for R C Frame structures.
The first, for Millers, is for the erection of five low-level concrete frame buildings at North Leamington School and the second, for Carillion, is a new NHS LIFT scheme involving the erection of a 6 storey frame. Both contracts were awarded on the back of successful groundworks packages.
“Historically, we have always erected Reinforced Concrete structures as part of our groundwork packages, but it is great to be winning stand alone frame contracts”, says John Love of Parkstone Construction.
“We’re sure that we can demonstrate that choosing Parkstone as a one stop shop for both groundworks and frame construction will solve a lot of problems and reduce management
co-ordination time, for the developer, main contractor and ourselves alike”.
Parkstone continue to make strong headway since their management buyout a year ago.
